Amighanne - Dental Hygienist

Amighanne graduated from Shoreline Community College in 2019 with a degree in dental hygiene. She has been in dentistry since 2011 as a former sterilization technician and dental assistant. She loves her job as a dental hygienist because she gets to be a part of patients' lives in improving their oral health by educating and guiding them in the right track of having a healthier mouth. In her spare time she loves to spend quality time with her family, friends and dog named Pumba. Hanging out at home watching movies and cooking are some of her favorite hobbies to do. She speaks fluent Tagalog: “Tuloy po kayo sa aming munting tahanan, aalagan po namin kayo dito!” This means “Welcome to our humble home, we will take care of you!”

Fun Fact: I married my high school sweetheart!

Julie - Dental Hygienist

Julie received her Dental Hygiene Degree from Georgia Southern University in Savannah, Georgia. She has been with Pinewood Family Dental since 2016! She loves being a hygienist, educating and providing quality care to patients. And also enjoy the outdoors, traveling and spending time with family.

Fact: Was a baton twirler, a skill good to have with Dental Hygiene.

Mailisa

Mailisa graduated from Mohave Community College, dental hygiene class of 2022. Drawn to other’s smiles, she knew she wanted to be in the dental field. Mailisa is proud to be able to advocate and support patients to happier and healthier oral health care. When she’s not at work, she is spending time with her 3 kids.

Fun fact: Was Mohave Community College’s student commencement speaker for Class of 2022!

Cam - Lead Dental Assistant

I became a dental assistant in 2019 and immediately sparked a passion for oral health and educating patients. I’m currently in the process of becoming a Dental Hygienist and look forward to a lifelong career in Dentistry.
It’s been amazing working at Dr. Lee’s office where everyone feels like family and our goals for helping our patients synchronize perfectly.
In my free time I enjoy being outside in the sun, taking weekend getaways, camping, hiking and spending time with my fiance, Conor and dog, Billy.

Jen - Registered Dental Assistant

Jen joined Pinewood Family Dental in 2022 after taking her Dental Assisting courses at Sno-Isle Tech. Since then she has loved being in the dental field and working with patients. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, attending sports games, spending time with her friends and family and loves to shop!

Fun Fact: Jen has an extra tooth!

Susanna - Registered Dental Assistant

Susanna joined Pinewood Family Dental in October of 2023. She attended Sno - Isle Tech for Dental Assisting and graduated in June 2021. Susanna loves assisting and meeting new faces in the chair everyday. Some of her favorite hobbies are singing at church, hiking, fishing, cooking, trying new Dutch Bros drinks with her sisters and spending time with her family and close friends.

Fun Fact: She can speak Ukrainian and Russian.

Shylee

This is Shylee! She has been in the dental field just shy of 3 years. You can catch Shylee on her paddle board or chasing some golf balls on the course, soaking up the sun.

Fund Fact: I always knew I wanted to be somewhere in the medical/ dental field since I was in kindergarten and here I am!

Superpower: Making someone feel heard and turning a frown upside down.

Ali - Office Manager, EFDA

Ali has been at Pinewood Family Dental since 2017 when she started an externship as a Dental Assistant. Since then she continued her education into Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and Administration to currently being the Office Manager. Just like her career, her family has doubled in the time she has been with the office. In her days off she fills her time spent with her
husband, Cannen, and two children, Cecilia and Barrett. Her favorite thing to do with them is explore farmers markets, try new restaurants or watch her kids in activities and sports. Her favorite part of working at Pinewood Family Dental is being able to be a part of an encouraging and supporting team of inspired dental professionals with the common goal of serving our community. It is truly amazing to work in an environment where there is always learning and evolving happening.

Fun Fact: You may see someone else around the office that looks an awful lot like me. 😉

Yvette - Financial Coordinator

Yvette has 22 years dental experience in insurance, orthodontics, endodontics - all aspects of dentistry. She loves customer service, as it is very rewarding helping others with complicated insurance questions. She is a mother of 3, a grandmother to 11 and of Christian faith. Her passion is in helping others, giving and caring with a lot of compassion.

Fun Fact: She loves “Bears”, collecting them..

Dilay - Treatment Coordinator

Originally from Long Beach, Dilay relocated to Washington in the summer of 2024 and has loved embracing her new chapter of independence. She is grateful to be part of the Pinewood Family Dental team, where a supportive environment made her transition seamless. Since joining the practice, Dilay has discovered a deep passion for helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Seeing patients happy with their results is what she finds most rewarding. Outside of work, Dilay enjoys taking pilates classes, exploring new places with her puppy Jett, and spending time with friends.

Fun Fact: She has a natural talent for working with her hands - whether it's painting or building. Her creativity and attention to detail reflect her artistic side.

Super Power: Known for her optimistic outlook, she approaches every challenge with positivity and can-do attitude, always finding the bright side in any situation.

Alexus

Alexus began her career as a Registered Dental Assistant, where she spent four years helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. Today, she serves as a Treatment Coordinator, combining her clinical background with her passion for building relationships and helping patients feel confident throughout their dental journey. She strives to create a welcoming experience by being caring, kind, personable, and approachable. Her coworkers know her for having a positive attitude, outgoing personality, and sense of humor—she believes a smile and a little laughter can go a long way.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to music, going on scenic drives, fishing, and taking in the beauty of nature. She loves making meaningful connections with people and bringing positivity wherever she goes.

Fun Fact: I've lived in several different states throughout my life, and somehow my journey led me here! Every place I've lived has shaped who I am and given me a unique perspective that I carry with me every day.

Superpower: My superpower is making people feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for. Whether I'm helping a patient navigate their treatment or simply sharing a laugh, I enjoy turning nervous moments into positive experiences through kindness, compassion, and connection.

This is Cass! Part thrill-seeker, part professional napper. She loves all things Disney and Harry Potter, traveling to new places with her son and husband, and hunting for hidden gems while thrifting. When she's not off on an adventure, you’ll probably find her relaxing with her two huskies!
